At this point it looks like I've made about as much armor as anyone else in the chapter. I'm by no means a master, but have put together a couple of pieces I'm pleased with and will soon be moving on to a lamallar torso.
Tandy happens to have leather on sale this month. If you can spare the money, I'll be happy to help guide you through the construction process.
For those that don't want to make armor, I do have an extra pair of bracers sitting around. If they fit you at all and you're interested, I'm selling them for ten bucks since they are premade and... well, they are what they are. Later in the month, I will probably be selling made-to-spec bracers for about $25 / pair.

A master armorer I am not...probably not even apprentice; but I live about 20 mins outside Muncie and have made some armor for myself and assisted making armor for others. I'd be glad to help out with advice or bring tools / equipment to help out if you guys held a get-together sometime.

I would definitely be interested in some leather armor and help with said armor Spoons. Where is Tandy located so I can buy some? Is it possible to order online? Or worth it?

Tandy has locations in Ft. Wayne and Indy. Yes you can order online; as for worth it....figure leather is heavy and shipping ain't cheap. It's a bulk item.

If you're gunning to do your own armor and can't afford the initial drop of cash; consider a standard 1/2 hide of ~24 sq ft will make 2 skinny guys a full suit of armor, sans helm (a layered chest + back, set of greeves and bracers, pauldrons and thigh armor) This all depends upon your design and playing some tetris with arranging pieces prior to cutting, but it can be done.

I have a box of leather various colors prolly could make some patched armor pieces, graders, tastes, maybe a helmet or two. Looking to order rivets to make and sell armor.
